About Dani
Dani is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker Associate who has experience working in residential, partial hospitalization, and outpatient levels of care. Dani’s areas of focus include anxiety, depression, eating disorders, trauma healing, and obsessive-compulsive disorder.
Do you have anxious thoughts that keep you on a loop that spirals and feels exhausting? Maybe you struggle with indecision and confidence in your life. Anxiety shows up in many ways and without realizing it, we often find ourselves coping in ways that distance us from who we are. Maybe that looks like avoiding social situations, obsessive thinking and actions, disorder eating, or perfectionism. Or maybe you find yourself exhausted first thing in the morning and struggle to get out of bed. Depression can feel like an invisible rain cloud following only you around, leading to feeling alone, hopeless, and angry at life.
If this resonates with you, Dani sees and hears you. She brings a holistic, strength-based, and trauma-informed approach to therapy. When working with eating disorder clients, she aligns with body trust and intuitive eating perspectives. Additionally, Dani identifies as LGBTQIA+ and enjoys working closely with the community.
In addition, Dani believes in humor and healing, and she brings compassion to create a relatable and supportive space. Dani incorporates a variety of therapeutic techniques, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Radically Open Dialectical Behavior Therapy (RODBT), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Exposure Response Prevention (ERP).
In her free time, Dani enjoys playing guitar, creative writing, rock climbing, hiking, and trying out new coffee shops! Dani loves animals, and dogs hold a very special place in her heart.
